Glacier caves are almost magical places. The ancient ice shimmers in various shades of blue. However, these natural wonders are ephemeral. Due to climate change, glaciers around the world are melting at an ever-increasing rate. Over the summer, the caves change almost daily: ice melts, areas collapse and some caves disappear completely while new ones form elsewhere. If we continue like this, large parts of our glaciers could soon disappear. In this picture, the blue sky is reflected in the ancient ice.
