Printed on premium fine art paper: Hahnemühle Bamboo Natural Line with a small white margin for easy framing.

Strictly limited number of only 30 prints.

Signed by me plus a certificate of authenticity.

The jagged ice of the Aletsch Glacier shimmers blue against the lush greenery in front of it. At first glance, the ice appears to rise like a wall above the grass. In reality, however, the ice lies in the valley below. My elevated shooting position, high up on the mountain, allowed me to capture this interesting perspective. The Aletsch Glacier is the longest in the Alps, stretching around 20 kilometres. However, due to climate change, it is losing a considerable amount of ice every year. Scientists estimate that, by 2100, only around 12 % of its current volume will remain.
